PMI, LLC Received ISO 9001-2000 Certification

Founded in 1998, PMI, LLC, was certified as an official member of the Internal Organization for Standardization (ISO).

PMI has recognized the importance of meeting our customer’s quality demands, so we were pleased to announce that we have been an ISO 9001:2000 registered manufacturing company since November of 2004.

The system will have a wide impact on cost reduction, continuous improvement, and effective management control. Certification means that PMI, LLC provides consistently of outputs which meet both customer and regulatory requirements.

The ISO (International Organizations for Standardization) is a network of the national standards institutes of 148 countries, and is the world’s largest developer of standards. The standards are useful to industrial and business organizations to ensure products are manufactured at a high level of quality, safety, reliability, efficiency, and interchangeability.

ISO certification is not only beneficial to suppliers in private and public sectors, but ultimately to people in their roles as ‘end users.’

An ISO certificate is not a once-and-for-all award, but must be renewed at regular intervals, usually around every 3 years. The ISO Certification provides PMI, LLC with proof that we maintain a quality system with worldwide acceptance.
